Okewu, who lives in Lagos, said he ventured out to Benue on Wednesday and went straight to his family home where he passed the night with the expired and some different individuals from the family. The following morning, their dad advised Emmanuel to weed the compound. He said Emmanuel was sick on that portentous day and had a slight fever, yet he approached the errand as asked for by his dad. When he was done, he took conventional medication, prevalently called agbo, to treat his illness and it was around then that he got a call.

Okewu stated:

"He completed the work and that very day he was not very solid. He was feeling hot. So he went to take this nearby medications. That was the point at which they said he got a call. Prior to that day he had been discussing his school, saying that he needs to go and visit his venture administrator. So they said that there was a call, that some individual called him and he now left home that very morning between 8 to 10, something like that, since I know I went out before I went out.

"At that point, later, around two hours after the fact, they now called me that they have killed my sibling in Ugbokolo. I was stating, 'No, it can't be him since I cleared out him at home toward the beginning of today'. Just for me to get to Ugbokolo and discover that it was him that they executed."

Okewu said that when he got Ugbokolo, he was informed that the assortment of Emmanuel had been taken to Okpoga where it will be stored in the morgue. On getting to Okpoga, he was demonstrated the carcass and to his stun, it was for sure his sibling. "Oh my goodness reality since we are from a decent Christian family and we don't tell lies, that slaughtering – however I'm not a judge – but rather that murdering is wilderness equity. At the point when Emma was leaving on that day, accepting he was gotten with weapon or he was at the theft scene, it's an alternate case. This is a guiltless man. This is a man that doesn't… I don't know how they did it, I'm certain that it's through someone. He was not with any weapon, they just picked him and executed him. This slaughtering is subjective, it isn't right."

At the point when LIB inquired as to whether he couldn't decide from the injuries on his body on the off chance that he was stoned or shot, Okewu said he just went to distinguish in the event that it was his sibling or not and did not by any stretch of the imagination focus on the body to perceive how he was murdered. "I'm not the eldest in the family. My elderly ones are the ones dealing with this case. I'm certain they know how to go about it superior to myself. I am yet to call my senior sibling to get some information about how they are seeking after the case."

Okewu gave unclear answers as respects what was being done to seek after equity. He said he got data from his senior ones who disclosed to him they reached police and they've denied being included in Emmanuel's murdering. He said he was unconscious what measures were being taken to guarantee equity is served and that he leaves equity to God.

"No one is cheerful for the time being on the grounds that we never realize that that can come up in our family. That day, my sibling was in the house here so everyone is astounded. What I know is that God is on the honored position to judge."

The mother of the expired is apparently broken by the demise of Tu Green, who was the last offspring of the family. Okewu said his mom has been not able eat and has been in tears since his demise. His dad is likewise influenced by the episode.
