Latest Yoruba Movie - Omiran (Giant)

Watch- Omiran (Giant) by femi Adebayo

Treat Dry Cracked Feet Naturally By Simply Doing This Before You Go To Bed.

Cracked heels and other foot cracks are usually caused by a combination of pressure and dry, non-pliable skin. Standing and walking applies pressure which makes the skin on the bottom of the feet expand sideways.

If the skin is not sufficiently pliable, cracking can result. Known medically as heel fissures, cracked heels are linear cut wounds which usually affect the surface level, or epidermis, of the heel. When the cracks extend beyond the epidermis, they can result in pain, bleeding and even infection.

Calluses develop on the feet, especially on the bottoms of the feet and the underside of the big toe. They can also develop on the hands, fingers or anywhere on the body where there is repeated friction. Calluses appear due to dry skin or too much friction on one area, such as the repeated rubbing caused by ill-fitting shoes.

Cracked heels are most often a result of lack of proper foot care and may also be caused by dietary deficiencies. In particular, diets which fail to provide adequate zinc and essential omega-3 fatty acids may contribute to cracked heels and other dry skin problems.

Zinc rich foods include oysters, organic chicken, crab, kidney beans, yogurt, and brown rice. Omega-3 fatty acids are largely found in cold water fish and healthy oils such as flaxseed.

If you love lemons then next time you eat or squeeze a lemon or lime, save the peels and give them a second life. The high acidity of the lemon juice works to soften the hardened skin that makes up your callus/corn. It’s a way to soften it other than simply soaking it.

Plus, it will also help to alleviate any discomfort in your feet. However, using too much lemon too often can actually harm your skin and make it more susceptible to damage, especially from the sun.

How to Use Lemon Peels to Get Rid of Dry Cracked Feet and Calluses

Wash your legs if you have dirty feet.Cut a lemon into half and squeeze the juice into a glass for future use because you might not need it at that time.Placing one-half of the lemon on the heel of each foot, then cover them with clean, old socks and go to sleep.Your heels will be softer and smoother in the morning!

Some suggestions for easy foot care which can help prevent cracked heels are:

Keep your feet clean and dirt free.Exercise feet regularly.Follow a daily regimen of cleansing and moisturizing.Gently exfoliate the feet when needed.Alternate hot and cold water for a foot bath to soothe the feet.If you have deep bleeding cracks, avoid walking barefoot until the cracks are gone

Gospel song : It is Finished – Preye Omayuku

Tell me, what can I do,
To make you see that it’s all done,
I did it all on Calvary and then I said
That ‘it is finished’
All your sins forgiven
All your sins forgotten
All your sickness gone
Answers to your questions
All has been forgiven
Everything forgotten
I rewrite your story
It’s a new beginning
It is finished
And every hand that points
Every judgment made,
Every ordinance, He nailed to the cross,
For now there’s no condemnation to those
who are in Christ Jesus,
Whom the son sets free, he is free indeed
I’m not what I used to be
Since my Jesus came and He turned me
around…

2017 Jamb Statistics Is Very High Over 1.5Million Candidates Registered

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said it had so far registered 1.5 million candidates for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the country.

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen on Saturday at side line of activities marking the pre-JAMB mock examinations.

It will be recalled that the JAMB mock examinations earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday May 8 had been postponed to ensure smooth conduct of the exam.

Oloyede said: “So far, it has even been better than our expectation, it was a mock, the intention was to test the technology and it proved to be perfect.
“I think from what we are seeing, we are more than ready for the main examination.

“At least 90 per cent of the examination centres have reported positively, there have been proper downloading and preparation; even after the exam we had uploaded responses of 80 per cent.

“We have done it to show that what works elsewhere across the world should work in Nigeria; we believe we can do it efficiently; we will continue to do our best.
We have registered over 1.5million candidates in less than five weeks; we believe that the reality we have put in place is good enough.’’

Oloyede said that 633 centres were used to conduct the mock examination for 153, 000 candidates across the country.

In separate interviews, some of examination centre coordinators and candidates lauded JAMB for the mock initiative geared towards equipping the candidates to do better in the main exam.

Mr Abdul-Aziz Olasoyinka, Technical Research Officer of Digital Bridge Institute, commended JAMB for the mock examination.

He said it was apt in terms of preparation for future exams.

Olasoyinka said: “Mock is a good experience because it will help the candidates to adequately prepare for the forthcoming examination.

“It helps to evaluate how well the candidates have prepared and to improve themselves ahead of time.”

Mr Olajide Adisa, Director of Outstations at JAMB, said although there were 230 capacities at the Computer Based Test (CBT) centre, plans were on to upgrade to 250 them before the main exam.

“Even with that our specification is that at least we should have 10 per cent of same capacity as back-up in case of any breakdown.

“We have already put measures in place to test them in the course of the mock examination, they will be ready before the main examination,” Adisa said.

A candidate, Miss Hadiza Abdullahi, told NAN that the mock examination had improved her level of confidence ahead of the main exam.

She described the examination as encouraging, adding that she expects to sit for the main examination well-equipped.

Abdullahi, however appealed to the board to put measures in place to enable candidates wanting to register for future exam to do so with ease.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the mock examination held in three sessions, including the JAMB headquarter and CBT centre in Kogo community.

Iyanya- Not Amazed Tekno Has Eventually Made It

Nigerian singer and winner of the first season of Project Fame West Africa, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known by his mononym Iyanya, has insisted he is not jealous of Tekno’s success and says he is not surprised at how his career has risen...
In an interview with Saturday Beats, When asked if he is envious of Tekno’s success, the singer simply smiled and said he had always believed Tekno whom he dubbed ‘Golden boy’ would succeed in life.

He said,
“I am so happy for Tekno and his success and I am not surprised. At a point, we were all together and this is a young guy that works very hard. He worked every night and when we woke up in the morning, he would still be working.
So, I am not surprised that he has finally made it. I believe this is just the beginning and there are many more things to come his way. When he came to Triple MG, he sprayed his hair gold and anytime I wanted to call him, I referred to him as golden boy. I am very happy he is doing great things.’

How would I be envious of somebody that Ubi Franklin and I raised from our platform? We used our platform to promote him and I cannot be envious of him; there is no need for that. People would always try to say negative things but we are very fine.”

Jobless Engineer - I Went Into Robbery After President Buhari Came To Power

A 26-year-old building engineer, Benedict Otanwa, has told operatives of the Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) that he took to crime after President Buhari came to power. According to him, he joined crime after his company lost a contract because of Buhari’s economic policy.

The loss of the contract led to many workers in the company being relieved of their duties. He said that he was part of the workers affected in the company’s downsizing.

The police said: “The suspects Otanwa, Okopi and Ijiga are all natives in of Benue State. They were arrested by operatives of the IRT in Nassarawa for coordinating several robberies, which include the robbery of a popular pharmacy and snatching of a Toyota Sienna car in Yanya.”

He explained that he was already married before the sack and couldn’t provide for his family anymore. He was troubled. He soon became friendly with a man called, IG.

He revealed his situation to IG, who gave him money on different occasions. One day, IG told Otanwa that he was going to introduce him to a business that would be fetching him good money.

Otanwa would later realise that the business was robbery. In the first operation, two members of his church went with them.

He said: “I’m a building engineer. I joined robbery after I was sacked by the company where I was working in Abuja. Our company lost a contract after President Buhari came to power. I was already married; I could no longer provide for my family.

Unfortunately I met one guy, IG and told him about my predicament. He gave me some money. After a while, IG asked me to join him in his business. I asked what it was and he said I should meet him at a junction close to my house.”

When Otanwa got to the junction, he met IG and another man called Oteh. Otanwa said that two members of his church, Sunday and Monday, were also there. Otanwa said: “We moved out. IG showed us a pharmacy.

He said we should rob it. On our way, we saw a Toyota Sienna. IG and Oteh, who had guns with them, went and snatched it from the owner. We later sold it. I was given N5,000 after the vehicle was sold. Honestly, it was poverty that pushed me into this.”

Sadly, the law doesn’t know poverty. He’s on his way to prison.

MOCK UPDATE!
Today jamb is currently conducting its much anticipated first ever mock. All things went fine @ my center in Surulere Lagos though they were some delays.
I was among the 7am batch, I and other candidates arrived the venue before the stated Time, we did our BioMetrics (Thumprints) Verification after which we waited till 8.10am before we were ushered into the hall. This delay was as result of the Co-ordinators waiting for other students who are yet to arrive.
Contrary to what jamb stated earlier that Mouse would not be use, we used mouse @ my centre coupled with the eight keys. Experience has proven that Using Mouse with the eight keys was in the interests of the candidates.

Use of English.
60 questions were set for the Use of English, The breakdown goes thus;
1 Comprehension passage,1Register, tests of Orals, synonyms and Antonyms, Syllabic stress,Sentence interpretation et all. questions were asked on lexis and structure, The questions sets from The recommended book "In dependence" were deep questions. LITERATURE; Questions were set from the recommended books and poems, few questions were set from Literary terms and Figures of Speech.

Jamb To Bring In Series Of Questions For 2017 Candidates

The Joint Admission and Matriculation board (JAMB) has disclosed that it has put a new innovation in place that will enable it deploy enough questions for the JAMB exam for all the candidates writing on a particular day. This was disclosed by JAMB's Head of Information, JAMB, Dr Fabian. He explained that in previous years the board can only deploy questions once in a day. So even if there are three batches of candidates (morning, afternoon and evening) writing the examination on the same day, they have to answer the same questions. But this is no longer the case.According to him, if we have three sessions or batches, we will deploy three times; this is a new innovation to ensure that even the person at the centre does not compromise the sanctity of the examination. He equally mentioned that so far, about 1.3 million candidates have registered for the examination billed to hold between May 13 and 20.
